Prerequisites

  • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
  • Your Reconnect license key

Installation

Download the installer

Download the latest Reconnect Windows client from the dashboard:Download Reconnect for Windows →

Run the executable

Double-click reconnect-windows.exe. Windows Defender may show a SmartScreen warning — click More info → Run anyway.
The executable is unsigned during beta. This warning is expected and safe to dismiss.

Enter your license key

On first launch, a prompt will appear asking for your license key. Paste it in and press Enter.The client will bind your device’s HWID to your subscription.
Your device will appear as Online in the dashboard Devices tab.

Running in the Background

Reconnect runs minimized to the system tray. You can:
  • Right-click the tray icon to access controls
  • Set it to Start with Windows from the tray menu

Updating

When a new version is available, the client will notify you. You can also re-download from the dashboard at any time — your license key and settings are preserved.
